About
Joyful Breathing was created out of a deep passion for helping families find relief, clarity, and confidence through better breathing and myofunctional health. We believe that change can be exciting and that everyone — at every age, at every ability level — deserves the tools to be the very best version of themselves.
Brittany Bailey's journey into myofunctional therapy began personally. As a patient seeking care for dental crowding and severe clenching, she experienced firsthand the profound impact that myofunctional therapy can have — not just on her smile, but on her confidence, her breathing, and her overall quality of life. That transformation lit a fire in her, and she knew she had to share it with others.
Brittany holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences with a Minor in Nutrition, a Master's Degree in Respiratory Psychophysiology, and certification training in Myofunctional Therapies. She has continued to deepen her expertise through additional certifications in MyoMunchee, Breathe Baby, Infant Frenectomy Protocols, and Neurodiversity through Florida State University.
That last certification holds a special place in Brittany's heart. Over the years, Joyful Breathing has become a trusted, neuro-affirming space for neurodivergent families navigating airway health. Brittany is deeply committed to meeting every patient where they are — honoring all forms of communication, respecting sensory needs, and adapting her approach to best fit each unique family. The neurodivergent families she has worked with have shaped her into a better practitioner, and she is endlessly grateful for the trust they place in her.
At Joyful Breathing, if you breathe, you are welcome here.
